In the first episode of our newly relaunched weekly podcast format, editors of The University Times discuss some of the bigger stories from the past week. Podcast Editor, Jack O’Kennedy, and Editor, Edmund Heaphy, discuss the revisions to Trinity’s tenure-track proposal in response to significant criticism with regards to how it treats women with News Editor, Dominic McGrath. They also discuss why there are not enough women running for election in TCDSU this year, and how the presidential and education races will pan out with Assistant News Editor and Chair of the Editorial Board, Eleanor O’Mahony, who will co-lead this year’s election coverage, as well as Trinity’s new philanthropy drive with Deputy Editor, Sinéad Baker.
