Trinity’s MBA programme has been ranked sixth in western Europe, one place up from 2014, according to the latest Eduniversal Best Masters rankings.

Both Trinity Business School’s MBA options improved on 2014, making it the top-ranked MBA programme in Ireland.

These rankings place Trinity’s MBA programme above Oxford and Cambridge, showing a completely different picture from the other more highly regarded rankings, such as one produced by the Financial Times. Trinity Business School is not included in most major rankings, as it has not yet been accredited by the relevant business school accreditation associations.

UCD Smurfit Business School is placed in 28th position while Dublin City University Business School is ranked in 38th place.

Dr Jim Quinn, assistant professor in the Trinity Business School, emphasised the importance of the rankings: “We are delighted that Eduniversal’s 2015 ranking of 4,000 best Masters and MBAs worldwide reveals Trinity Business School to be among the top ranked in the western Europe. We believe that small class sizes, research-led teaching, and specialist technical modules give students a differentiated, valuable degree”.

The Eduniversal rankings also placed Trinity’s full-time MBA programme in 9th position, up from 12th in 2014. The same rankings place Trinity above the University of Oxford, Said Business School, which was at 11th, and UCD’s Smurfit School of Business in 23rd place.

The rankings also placed Trinity’s MSc in International Management at 9th place, while the MSc in Corporate Finance was ranked 19th.
