Alfred Hitchcock is often referred to as the greatest film director to ever live and has created some of the most iconic movie moments of all time. Cary Grant being chased by a crop duster in North by Northwest. The voyeuristic camerawork of Rear Window. The shower scene in Psycho (possibly the most well-known moment in all of film). Luckily for his many fans, the Light House cinema has announced its very own season of Hitchcock films starting in August and extending all the way to October.

Presenting Alfred Hitchcock will see the Light House screen a number of Hitchcock’s classic films along with new restorations of the critically acclaimed Rebecca and Strangers on a Train, making it a season not to be missed. Starting with Rebecca on August 27th, the season continues with staples of Hitchcock’s oeuvre. With the likes of To Catch a Thief, Notorious, and The 39 Steps on show, the season will prove to be any Hitchcock fan’s dream.

What’s more is that audiences will get to soak up the suspense in one of Europe’s finest cinemas. The Light House is famed for its warmth, aesthetic, great food and drink, and genuine love of cinema in all its forms. Most importantly, it happens to be student friendly. Student tickets range from €7 to €8.50, making for an affordable night at the movies.
