Gardaí Appeal for Help Tracing Missing Trinity Student

Joe O'Boyle was last seen on Mayor St, Dublin 1, on Tuesday afternoon.

Gardaí in Rathmines have appealed for support in tracing a missing Trinity student, Joe O’Boyle.

O’Boyle has been missing since the afternoon of Tuesday, January 15th. The 21-year-old was last seen on Mayor St, Dublin 1, wearing a red ski coat with a white trim and a pair of beige chinos. He was said to be carrying a grey Superdry backpack.

O’Boyle has been described as approximately 5’11 in height and of medium build, with short black hair and blue eyes.

He is from Celbridge in Kildare, but currently lives in Dartry. Anyone with information has been asked to contact Rathmines Garda Station on 01-6667000 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.

Trinity College Dublin Students’ Union (TCDSU) posted on social media today about O’Boyle and offered support to any student who may be impacted by the news.

“Sources of Support and Help in College are available to any students who need them”, the statement said.
