The University Times

The University Times is Ireland's largest student newspaper. It has consistently won Irish Student Publication of the Year and in 2017 was awarded best all-around non-daily student newspaper in the world by the US-based Society of Professional Journalists. In everything we do, we strive to hold College and Trinity College Dublin Students' Union to account.

The Radius Creative Director is responsible for the layout and styling of Radius, The University Times's 24-page art, culture and societies section. The Radius Creative Director reports directly to the Radius Editor, working closely with the Photo Editor and the Illustrations Editor. Experience with the Adobe Suite of applications, particularly Adobe InDesign, is essential.

Candidates should work very well in a team, and should expect collaboration with a wide variety of journalists, whether they are writers, photographers, illustrators, or editors.

The print edition Radius is produced once every four weeks during term time, and is laid out over the weekends. As such, candidates should expect to spend a significant proportion of these weekends on Radius.
