The University Times

The University Times is Ireland's largest student newspaper. It has consistently won Irish Student Publication of the Year and in 2017 was awarded best all-around non-daily student newspaper in the world by the US-based Society of Professional Journalists. In everything we do, we strive to hold College and Trinity College Dublin Students' Union to account.

The Science & Research team consists of the Science & Research Editor and a number of Science & Research Correspondents, who are responsible for coverage of science-related issues, and for writing feature and opinion articles on related topics, such as new academic research developments in Trinity and the rest of the world, and for writing accessible pieces on complicated science topics that help readers understand the research. Candidates are expected to have a general understanding of science, health science, and academic research in Trinity and should have an advanced writing ability.

Candidates should work very well in a team, and should expect collaboration with editors and journalists.
